BESTEQ is a leader in information security (INFOSEC). We design, develop, and deploy Information Security technology solutions that protect mission-critical information and resources for organizations worldwide. We support our clients at every stage of the information life cycle. Activities include developing security policies, performing INFOSEC assessments, implementation of security procedures and preventive devices such as firewalls and detection intrusion mechanisms, security audit trail, and alarm functions.

Security requirements are based on assessing threats. There are four fundamental threats from the security objectives:

  1. Information leakage

Information Security (INFOSEC)
Information security has four fundamental objectives:

  1. Confidentiality of information
  2. Integrity of data
  3. Availability of information and resources
  4. Legitimate use of resources

To support these objectives, BESTEQ works with our clients to create a security policy and a range of security measures to ensure that the goals of the security policy are met.

INFOSEC Assessments
The INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (IAM) is a very structured, high-level, non-intrusive process for identifying and correcting security weaknesses in information systems and networks. The National Security Agency has developed the IAM in conjunction with the National Institute for Science and Technology (NIST) and opened up the method for commercial use. The National Security Agency (NSA) has trained and certified BESTEQ to perform INFOSEC Assessments in accordance with the NSA's INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (IAM).
